New Year New Dreams

I am on week two in Life Book and wow I cant say enough about how much I already love this class. This week we had the opportunity to make  Dream Boards lesson by http://juliettecrane.com . This can be anything we wish for as individuals ,the sky is the limit (inner peace, a fancy car , to become a movie star) , no one said it will come true but it is something to work towards and you never know the more you follow your dreams and set out small goals the more  likely you are to attain them .These dreams dont have to be attainable in a year or two they are future hopes and goals. Some may be within reach and some may take a long time but as the saying goes "Yesterday is but a vision, and tomorrow is only a dream. But today well lived?makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a dream of hope.

Happy New Year .

I am so excited , the start of a new year and a new adventure . I am beginning my art journey in a new course called Life Book on Willowing (be sure to check out the link ) It is going to be an amazing year of self exploration as well as a mixed media art journey experience from over 14 talented artists. My first two assignments were to create a sacred box to keep all my pieces I create in . I just finished it today .It was so fun painting this box I know I will use it for all kinds of special keepsakes

This is a page in my art journal . Who is my goddess ? What are her positive qualities ? This was very challenging and much more difficult then I thought. It is very hard to find those words .The inner self talk seems to make it a struggle to come up with the positives but for some reason the negatives come easy

Tis The Season.........

The weather is getting cool and as I cozy up at night in my home I usually get tangled up in my thoughts , Art has become a form of therapy for me . I have been trying to avoid this topic  but when my head is full I escape into my art . I think at first I had a hard time admitting to myself that I needed to escape buy I would rather draw and paint then curl up in bed and cry .
